AIRCRAFT FLAP FAIRINGS

today I am going to explain aircraft  flap fairings, which are strange in look(when you would have viewed from the aircraft window RIGHT!)
- So let's look into it, what are they?
- what do they contain?
-what is the function of those pods?

• The flap fairings serve two purposes.

1. they are used for the mechanism of flaps(that is extending and retracing ).
2. and they are used to decrease the drag at transonic cruise speed and which leads to less fuel consumption.
